A native of Hiroshima, Japan. Kazuko is the editor and publisher of PECOPECO!, an online food magazine for Japanese foodies in New York City.
Aside from covering New York’s exciting culinary scene, including restaurant openings, reviews of landmark eateries, and local New York food products and events, she also hosts food events and participate in a myriad of Japanese street festivals introducing Okonomiyaki to American food lovers. She also publishes a “Japanese Restaurant Guide in NYC” introducing Japanese restaurants recommended by the Japanese population in NYC.
Kazuko will demonstrate how to make Okonomiyaki in our test kitchen.
Afterwards, everyone will have a taste of her homemade Okonomiyaki and as a special treat, she will show us her secrets in making her famous Hiroshima Style Okonomiyaki.

Event/Seminar Cancellation Policy
If you would like to cancel your registration, we will issue a full refund for cancellations received in writing at least 5 business days prior to the event.
The registration fee is non-refundable for cancellations made less than 5 days prior to the event. You may however, transfer your registration fee towards a future Japanese Culinary Center event or arrange for a substitute person to attend.
Those who do not cancel and do not attend are responsible for the full registration fee. No refunds will be issued.
The Japanese Culinary Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event. Prior notice will be given. We are not responsible for any penalties or fees incurred directly or indirectly, including but not limited to airfare.
